Quick and easy guide to creating a blog post.

Hello Getting to Zero SF Community –

The blog space on this website is designed to faciliate communication between commitees and the larger consortium as well as provide a space to highlight the successes and champions of HIV treatment and prevention work in San Francisco.  You can easily submit your own blogs. This is a great way to provide a quick update from a committee meeting or to highlight work being done in or through your committee.

Let’s be mindful of the language we choose to use as part of our committment to ending stigma. For insights on language in the media, check out Postive Women’s Network’s excellent “Five things Media Makers can do to stand up to HIV stigma” as well as the Time article on “Why it’s best to avoid the word transgendered.”

A photo always makes the blog post more interesting and engaging. Grab the nearest smart phone and snap a picture of your committee at work or an inspiring view.

Don’t hesitate to reach out with questions! Shannon Weber
